View Profile XThe Association of Corporate Finance Managers , also known as “Treasurers Club”, was established in 1996. Its members are large Hungarian companies and the Hungarian subsidiaries of multinationals whose multibillion HUF cash management and financing needs made it necessary to employ an increasing number of good quality treasury experts. Previously, and it is partially true today, there did not exist adequate professional training, nor any professional forum for discussing common problems. That was the reason why we established this club, with the aim of training each other, sharing our thoughts and finding solutions.
Today we are a recognized professional body, our members and the club itself participate in several professional forums and share the experiences gained in the everyday practice of financial management. We are organizing meetings for our members on a monthly basis, where internal and external speakers share their thoughts with us, give insights in financial, general economy and management issues. On these occasions our member companies are represented mostly by treasurers, finance and other managers, providing a wide scope for discussion.
