  Marc’s career as an entrepreneur spans four decades. Most recently, Marc co-founded analytics software company Looker Data Sciences, which was acquired by Google in 2019 for $2.6 billion.

  Artificial intelligence’s principal application in treasury to date is in cash forecasting, or more accurately, in predictive analytics in receivables. By analysing historical payment patterns, AI can predict when payments will be received. Now, a host of cash forecasting modules promise AI-powered forecasts, enhancing accuracy and cash visibility, enabling better liquidity planning and reporting. Treasurers are, however, at very different stages of this AI journey, with some writing macros and Python scripts with the help of Co-Pilot in Excel, whilst others are taking masterclasses in agentic AI to harness the power of ERP AI layers in both back and front office processes. At BNP Paribas, his role consists of enabling seamless experimentation, and accelerating secure and sustainable production in a cost-effective and explainable way by providing group AI infrastructure and designing high-value AI business cases for BNP’s Cash Management and Transaction Banking activities.

  Prior to BNP Paribas, Su was Chief Data Officer at the General Directorate for Public Finances (DGFiP) in France. While there, he was in charge of developing and maintaining the DGFiP’s Big Data Infrastructure, AI and data visualization activities, data governance and circulation of data. He also spent time as a data scientist at Ubisoft and as an AI and fintech expert for public policy at the French bank and insurance supervisor. Su has an engineering degree from Ecole Polytechnique and a joint master’s degree in data science and cybersecurity from Ecole Telecom and Ecole des Mines in France.

  Until recently, Rajat Gupta was with Bunge for over 20 years, and served as Senior Vice President and Treasurer for the last 11 years. Over the past few years, in addition to Treasury, Rajat also had responsibility for the company’s FP&A function.  Earlier on during his time at Bunge, Rajat spent a few years building out the  company’s risk management function.  Prior to Bunge, Rajat spent a total of 12 years at International Paper, Ciba Specialty Chemicals and Graphic Packaging in various Finance, Treasury and Risk management roles.  Rajat holds a BSEE from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and an MBA from Thunderbird.  Rajat and his wife Vanita have two grown up children, a son-in-law and their dog, Raunak.

  Liz has launched Several Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and professional development programs like Adelante!, a program focused on the professional development of underrepresented groups. Liz is in the San Francisco ALPFA chapter, whose purpose is connecting Latino leaders for impact, as the Vice President of Programming and Board Development. Liz has also held leadership roles for Prospanica and Latinas in Tech – two non-profits serving the professional development and success of Latinx students and professionals.

   

  As a strategic program leader, Liz has a proven track record of “fixing broken processes and procedures” in large and small organizations. She has led teams across multiple geographies to successfully deliver large and complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

   

  Liz and her husband Miguel have two children, Jisel who is 37 and Cristian who is 26 and two granddaughters, Jazlene who is 6 years old and Nayeli who is 4 years old. In her spare time, you will find Liz watching sports on tv, especially the Golden State Warriors or reading a great book. Liz has a Doctorate in Educational leadership and is focused on helping Latinx people succeed in the technology sector.
