Founded in 1971 by a group of professionals linked to large companies in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian Institute of Finance Executives has spread to several Brazilian states. In São Paulo, the Institute has grown rapidly to become the main IBEF center in the country. IBEF SP brings together approximately 1,100 finance executives linked to major Brazilian companies. IBEF SP is part of the National IBEF System and the other branches are present in the main business centers of the country: Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Campinas, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and Vitória. Currently, the group of associates in Brazil is made up of 4,500 professionals working decisively in medium and large companies in various sectors of activity.
