How ECTN works

“We identify pain points, then help our members solve them”

Q&A with Daniel Lalanda Redlich, EuroFinance head of client solutions

Q. How does the ECTN help treasury professionals?
The ECTN was launched in 2012 and we now have over 2800 members worldwide. Last year, we added enhanced benefits, so now, as well as an extensive library of reports and other treasury content, the ECTN offers a virtual network of senior treasury peers you can connect with, 24/7.
“Our new tool enables you to talk to others within the network to share best practice and problem-solve, whatever the subject. EuroFinance’s powerful ECTN search facility allows you to drill down and locate a senior treasury professional anywhere in the world who has a similar interest or experience in a topic, or has encountered a similar issue to you. Simply ask to connect and start a conversation to share ideas and information on any treasury-related topic.”

Q. Who can join the ECTN?
“Applications are checked thoroughly and only senior corporate treasury professionals are accepted, so you can be confident that the people you meet through the ECTN have a real understanding of your world and the current challenges in modern treasury.

Q. What do you see as the main benefits of becoming part of the ECTN online community?
“We identify pain points, then help our members solve them. We stay one step ahead of emerging issues, creating an ECTN group to cover it. We then facilitate discussions, introduce expert speakers and survey our members, sharing our findings for everyone’s benefit. Recent topics have included supply chain finance and cash flow forecasting.”
