Webinar: Transforming global cash forecasting through digital technologies
16 November 2021 | 3:00pm CET
Unilever wanted to elevate its global cash forecasting process to make more cash available for investments in the business including a drive for sustainability projects. In order to view and project cash for over 600 global entities, spread across multiple teams and coming from six major data sources, Unilever was looking to focus on integration, a depth of analysis and workflow.
Discover how Unilever connected their data, standardized their many disparate processes, obtained quality data for their cash forecast and provided up to the minute analysis on behavior and trends within their cash operations. As a next step and currently being run in a pilot version, the real-time banking APIs will enable Unilever to optimise both their short term (intra-day) cash allocation as well as their longer-term cash and FX decisions.
In this webinar you will learn:
- How Unilever implemented their initial system
- The challenges encountered
- How Unilever radically transformed its current process through the use of different digital technologies
- The lessons learnt for accurate & automated cash forecasting, and the benefits that come with it
