Jan Kooi

Jan is an Independent Tax Lawyer. Jan was formally EMEA Tax Counsel based with Omnicom Europe Ltd in London, and was responsible for all
tax aspects of the subsidiaries of Omnicom Inc outside the US. Previously Jan was Partner of Loyens & Volkmaars, most recently in the Amsterdam office, having led the Tokyo and Far East office for over four years. Jan holds a law degree from the University of Amsterdam. He was Chairman of the IPBA tax committee, vice chair of the IBA tax committee and is a
supervisory board member of the European American Tax Institute, a post that he has held for more than 20 years. He is a frequent speaker and author on international tax issues.
