Irene Atkins
Head of Global Cash Management
Travelex
After working for many years in more traditional accounting roles with various multinationals Irene moved into the Treasury environment in 1988. Spending 10 years with Eaton an American Automotive multinational then Samsung a Korean Electronics multinational in various Cash Management and Finance roles; Irene moved to EDS Corporation in 1998 as their International Cash Manager and became a Global Consultant for them in 2000. Irene moved to her new role at Travelex in April 2008 to further develop that Global role in another industry sector.
Irene is a member of The Association of Accounting Technicians and is a International Certified Cash Manager with The Association of Corporate Treasurers.
