Ian Johnson
European Treasurer
Merck & Co.
Ian is European Treasurer for Merck & Co., Inc., one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. He is based in London at Merck’s European Treasury Centre. He is responsible for international treasury services within EMEA (advisory activities for affiliates) and for Merck’s in-house bank. The in-house bank concentrates or pools affiliate cash/debt balances, manages a payment factory and invests net surplus funds.
