This year in our annual flagship publication, Treasury Perspectives, we want to help refresh the parts that other publications don't: your agonies.

'Dear Doctor Treasury' will help answer some of the problems that are troubling you (and many that aren't). It's a light-hearted sideways glance at the troubles of treasury.

To help us in this utterly confidential service we'd like to ask you a few (silly) questions:

(1) What's the most irritating acronym or piece of jargon you have come across (and any polite suggestions about what the gobbledegook could stand for)?

(2) What's the best excuse you've heard (or made!) for late payment? and

(3) If the answer is '42', what is the question? Is it, the number of attempts it took to get your treasury management system to work properly? Is it, the number of times you had to explain why 'cash flow isn't the same as profit' to your CEO? Or is it something else entirely?
